Hector has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2001, when he began working as an in-home therapist in El Paso. Hector graduated with a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP) in 2002 and a Master’s of Science in ABA from Northeastern University in Boston Massachusetts in 2006. Hector has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2007. He has also worked across a broad range of clinical settings, including home, school-based, as well as residential facilities. Prior to founding ABA Comprehensive Services, Hector garnered extensive experience as the Clinical Manager for a school district-based ABA program for 7 and 1⁄2 years, overseeing a program that served over 150 children with autism daily.
Hector’s commitment to the field dates back to growing up with his younger brother with autism. His family moved to the states in 1990 in need of adequate services that were not available in his native Puerto Rico. This continues to be a driving force in Hector’s commitment to providing exceptional services to families facing similar challenges in under-served communities.

Elizabeth (Liz) has been in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) since 2011, where she began working as an in-home therapist in El Paso Texas. Liz graduated with a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology minoring in Psychology from the University of Texas in El Paso (UTEP) in 2012 and a Master’s in Education and Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University (ASU) in 2015. Liz has been a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) since 2017. She has worked across a broad range of clinical settings, home, school, and remote based locations. Liz has helped families and provided ABA services to individuals ranging from the age of 2 to 17 years. She has worked with families in the Dallas- Fort Worth Metroplex, Houston, San Antonio, Brownsville, and El Paso areas with different cultural backgrounds.
Liz’s devotion in providing ABA services comes from her drive to help others reach their potential. Prior to her career as a Behavior Analyst, Liz was a High School Volleyball Coach and also worked for a Child Crisis Foundation for 5 years. Liz continues to strive to assist families and to help others reach their goals one skill at a time. Liz believes in providing compassionate care, prioritizing family needs and ensuring client safety along with a fun and positive learning environment.

Esmie has been in the field of ABA since 2017, when she became an RBT in El Paso, TX, at 18 years old. Over the years, she has gained experience in clinic and in-home settings and has worked with children and adults ranging from 2 to 44 years old.
Working with the ASD community had been a goal of Esmie’s from a very young age after her nephew got diagnosed with autism. She saw the positive change that her nephew’s therapists made throughout his early childhood, which confirmed that someday, she would want to give back to the community by continuing that chain.
Throughout her early years as an RBT, Esmie then realized that there was a concerning need for ethical ABA services in El Paso that were trauma-free, child-centered, and promoted a strengths-based approach rather than compliance-based interventions. She also noticed that there was a need for ABA services in Spanish to support the ASD community and their families along the border. This drove her to pursue her BCBA certification.
Esmie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Spanish from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2020. She then received her Master of Arts in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Arizona State University in 2023. At the end of 2024, Esmie completed all requirements to sit for her BCBA certification which she passed successfully in early 2025. Her focus now is expanding ethical quality ABA services, supervision, and support to families, RBTs, and Student Analysts in El Paso, TX.
In 2021, after obtaining a Psychology degree with a fresh passion for early development, Rachel was introduced to the world of ABA. Rachel quickly fell in love with the RBT position. She knew that she wanted to contribute to providing options for care for children with autism. Over the past three years, each client has presented new and unique opportunities to make a difference.
Although her early years in ABA sparked her passion to make an impact, Rachel sought to provide a higher level of care aligned with a compassionate approach to treatment. In November 2023, Rachel joined ABA Comprehensive LLC. She quickly realized that this was a team unlike any other in that it provides her the opportunity to truly make the impact she aspires to with the families she serves. She strives every day to make an impression in the lives of her clients and embrace the beauty of each individual and their quirks.
Rachel is working towards returning to school for a Master’s in Applied Behavioral Analysis. With more than sufficient experience in a field with eye-opening realities of constant limitation of resources for people with autism, Rachel is devoted to becoming part of the change and helping make their potential possible.
Miriam has been in the field of ABA since 2022 as a Registered Behavior Technician. She first became interested in the field of psychology during her teenage years and began her pursue of the career through advanced placement classes. After moving to El Paso, she joined a youth group in which she was able to volunteer in a Non Profit Mental Hospital operating in Juarez. During this time, she got to know wonderful elderly people with Autism and other special needs. She recognized the lack of information in her community and wanted to help change the outcome and help them to be as happy and independent as they can be.
Miriam first learned of ABA through her psychology classes and became certified in March of 2022. During her time in the field, she has worked with children ranging from ages 3 to 14 at in-home and in-clinic settings.
Miriam holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso. She plans to continue her educational studies towards a Master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Rachel has been working in the ABA field since 2022. During her studies to obtain a music degree, psychology courses Rachel took as part of her core curriculum resonated with her. After receiving her degree, Rachel decided to pursue a career in psychology instead of her original plan to pursue a music career.
After doing more research, Rachel discovered that the field of ABA fit her new chosen career path and became certified as an RBT in June 2022. With a background in teaching music to children, she saw the opportunity to teach and help children in a new way.
Rachel currently holds a degree in Individualized Studies with a focus in music from New Mexico State University. She hopes to continue her education within the next year and pursue a Master’s degree in ABA or counseling.
Julie has been working with special needs children since 2018, when she volunteered at a summer camp for children on the autism spectrum and then took a job as a swim instructor for children with Down syndrome. Julie loved working in these settings but felt limited in the individual impact she could make on the children in a group setting. She felt called to do something where she could work 1:1 with children on the autism spectrum, and soon after, she discovered the field of ABA.
Julie transitioned into the field of ABA in 2021 when she became an RBT and started working in Las Cruces, NM. In early 2022, Julie moved to El Paso and began working as an RBT and Care Coordinator for ABA Comprehensive. As an RBT, Julie worked with children ages 3 to 13. After taking a break in 2023 for a program abroad, Julie returned to ABA Comprehensive to work as a Care Coordinator while she pursued her Master’s degree in Couples, Marriage, and Family Therapy.
Throughout her work in the field of ABA, Julie noticed how many stressors families go through navigating supporting their children’s autism and how many mental health needs individuals with autism have themselves. After graduating from her Master’s program, Julie wants to specialize in providing therapy to individuals with autism and their families to support them with these stressors. Julie is also working on a master’s thesis on autism in adult women and hopes to contribute to helping the field better understand the nuances of autism presentation in girls and women.
In 2023, Vivian began her journey working with children as a teacher assistant in an early childhood education setting. She quickly discovered how much she enjoyed supporting children from various backgrounds and became passionate about working with children with a range of abilities. While pursuing her degree in psychology, she was introduced to the field of ABA and realized how deeply it aligned with her interests in human behavior and early intervention.
After earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2024, Vivian became a Registered Behavior Technician in early 2025. Her clinical experience not only solidified her commitment to the field but also strengthened her dedication to becoming a compassionate and knowledgeable advocate for children with autism.
She is currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Special Education with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University and gaining hands-on experience as a student analyst at ABA Comprehensive Services. Vivian is driven by a desire to deliver ethical, compassionate, and culturally responsive care, and she is excited to continue learning from the experienced BCBAs and RBTs on her team.
